Christof, the film producer of the Truman show plays a role to everyone of being like Christ or God hence the name Christof  you can see this by the way he controls the world that Truman is in such as raising the sun when he wants and changing the weather when he wants.Christof in some eyes is like a father figure to Truman as he's been with him all his life and made decisions for what has happen to him for when he grew up just like a parent would also he's treated Truman with a perfect life.

Seahaven is a perfect place to live but in the eyes of Truman he believes it is just a normal town because that's what he has been brought up to believe and that is what he is use to but in actual fact it has just been made by film producers,so as the audience they all know that Seahaven is actually fake so the audience are split in decision of feeling sorry for Truman as hes living in the place which is a lie while others think that Truman is lucky to be living the dream in such a perfect place.

The Truman show is about a man who has started The Truman show is about a man called Truman brought up to believe the world he is living in is real and perfect where he has a loving wife,family and friends,That is until a studio light falls from the sky just outside his house as he starts to discover something suspicious about his life. Truman is not the only one whose view of reality has been blurred the audiences has as well. Truman was adopted by the film producer as his life got turned into a show watched by millions but of course he doesn't know that,In watching Truman on TV viewing him as an actor people seem to forget that he is just being his normal self and trying to be the average everyday person.
